In Fall 2014, students enrolled in the Working Class Public History course at Concordia University focussed on the past and present of Pointe Saint-Charles with the view of producing an audio walk based on oral history interviews recorded in the past few years for the Balconville to Condoville project. As part of this exercise, they reflected on the methodology and ethics of doing this kind of work. The class worked in collaboration with two other courses - Cynthia Hammond's Art History course and Ted Little's Neighbourhood Theatre. All three classes met at Share the Warmth in the neighbourhood on Thursday afternoons. For more on this pedagogical initiative, visit rightofthecity.atwaterlibrary.ca .
